Spring is almost here and I could not be more excited. Every year I say that Fall is my favorite season, but I'm realizing this year that each season brings something unique that I absolutely adore.
With Spring, I enjoy seeing so many beautiful flowers blooming around my neighborhood after months of barren trees and cloudy days. Here in California, we don't have it nearly as bad as many of you out there shoveling snow off of your driveway. But, to me, anything less than 60 degrees and sunny is pretty unbearable.
To honor the start of Spring, I wanted to celebrate with these beautiful Loria Stern Cookies. She makes gorgeous baked creations utilizing edible flowers and I just knew I'd want to have some in the cookie jar for the start of the season.
I plated them on top of my new Anthropologie dessert platter and decorated with Easter eggs and some flowers from sweet friends we'd had brunch with earlier that day.
I'm so excited for the arrival of Spring, and for my newfound love for each and every season.
