Hello my darlings.
As many of you know, I'm not the biggest fan of working out. I don't know what it is, I just can't bring myself to be a gym rat or a fitness fanatic.
Growing up, the only working out I ever did was dance. And I continued dancing through college. So during the time when many of my peers were figuring out what style of workout they liked to do, I was just in dance classes every day. Never really needing to figure out a healthy exercise routine for myself.
Well I'm 4 years out of college and I still don't have a consistent workout routine. Every now and again I'll try to pick up running, or going for walks, but it just never sticks. I've tried the intense online workouts but I don't consider them fun, so it's hard for me to do.
But today, I felt inspired.
I wanted to try something new and start taking more control of my health. So, instead of looking for a "Cardio" workout routine online, I searched for a "Dance" workout routine.
And by golly, did I strike gold.
I had the BIGGEST smile on my face the entire time I did this POPSUGAR Latin Dance Cardio workout. The instructor was full of energy and the best part was, I was combining two things I already know and love. My latin culture, and dance.
There was a merengue section, cumbia, salsa, and Reggaeton. I couldn't stop laughing as I danced to the beat and followed her funny instructions.
If you're like me, and you need to trick your mind into doing a workout that doesn't feel like a workout, I would highly suggest this one.
