My Favorite Farm Stands

One of my favorite things about living in California, is having access to so many amazing farm stands all year round. Very often, my husband and I will go for a quick drive to one of our favorite coastal towns and stop by a farm stand for some fresh produce. I started documenting these little outings in a series on my channel called, "Coastal Diaries" and it has quickly become one of my favorite videos to produce. And some of your favorites to watch.

I wanted to share some of my favorite farm stands that I've gone to over the past several years, for all of my fellow fresh, seasonal fruit and veg lovers out there.

Gospel Flat Farmstand

Featured in my last Coastal Diaries video, Gospel Flat is an honor system based farm stand at the entrance of Bolinas, Ca. Bolinas is known for being pretty secretive about its location and not many people know the town even exists. In fact, when I think about it, I'm not sure how I learned about Bolinas in the first place. It's a somewhat hippie vibe of a town, (if you can ignore the $2 million dollar homes), that's small, quaint, and a fun weekend getaway for locals. We've been going to this farm stand since 2020 and they have the most delicious produce. On this most recent trip, my mom picked up some organic potatoes and they were truly the most delicious potatoes I've ever had.

Tenfold Farmstand

This farmstand was actually the first one I ever featured in my Coastal Diaries series. With tons of locally grown produce and flowers, it is a consistent stop for us in the summer. The interior was previously a school that was established in 1895 and was still in use as a school until 2017. Now, it's home to this amazing farm stand that is stocked with delicious, locally grown produce.

Full Bloom Flower Stand

Don't you just love when you're on a drive and see a sign that says, "Fresh flowers, next turn!" or something equally as exciting. Well that's what happened to us as we were driving through Sonoma and came up the Full Bloom flower stand. This place is bursting with gorgeous, farm fresh arrangements in the Summer, and is such a fun place to stop off and grab a bouquet.

The Farmstand at Forest Knolls

Another adorable roadside farm stand, The Farmstand at Forest Knolls is another tucked away gem in Lagunitas, Ca. Honestly, there is no reason to go to Lagunitas unless you live there, you know someone who lives there, or you're diving through trying to get to the Coast. But if for some reason you find yourself in this blink-and-you-miss-it town, don't miss the chance to stop at the farm stand on the main road. It's got an amazing selection of local produce, snacks, flowers and even oysters!

Little Wing Farm

Ahh Little Wing Farm. I suppose I can't really add this one because they recently closed up shop last year, but I felt she deserved an honorable mention. Little Wing Farm was situated right at the entrance of Pt. Reyes Station, and held some of the most delicious produce and beautiful flowers. I don't know if they have plans to set up a farmstand elsewhere but the head farmer has been providing updates on Instagram if you want to stay connected.
