I hope you're having a ⭐️wonderful⭐️ Friday and you have something exciting to look forward to as we enter the weekend.
If you're following along on Instagram, you know that the last few mornings here in the mountains have been very peaceful and rejuvenating for me. After breakfast, I grab a glass of water, a yoga mat, my laptop, and head into a grassy knoll to do a quick 10 minute morning yoga routine.
I realized yesterday, how my self care really isn't some cute idea that is just a buzz word I use for bubble baths. I truly have to do it in order to feel good and not let depression and anxiety sink in.
These little acts and knowing that they aren't going to take up too much time, makes it really easy and applicable for me, because I'm not stressed about having to workout for 30 minutes or 45 minutes. Is it just me, or does this idea of getting dressed, getting in your car, and driving 10 minutes to the gym just sound exhausting in and of itself? This is a quick and easy way to get your body moving first thing in the morning, and it's not intimidating at all.
Okay so enough blabbing, here's my challenge for you!
Spend ten minutes out of your day, (can be in the morning, afternoon, or evening, whatever works best for you!) doing something that is beneficial for your overall health!
