As you all know, we are in the beginning stages of planning our big day over here and I have to admit, it's much more overwhelming of a process than I initially thought!
There's so much to take into consideration, so many things to decide on, and every day there are more questions that need answers. There are a few things Cain and I are thinking about doing a little differently, (click here to watch my latest video on some of our non-traditional wedding plans) but I like to think we'll have a good balance of traditional and non-traditional elements to our wedding day.
One thing that always brought us together, is our love for helping others. Early on in our dating relationship, we even discussed taking some time off together to do long term volunteer work either abroad or right here at home. While we ultimately decided to help in other ways, we still have a heart for our community and consider ourselves members of not only our immediate city or state, but of the world.
So when we came up with the idea to offer a non-profit donation option to our wedding registry, it just felt right. Not only would we be able to help out a cause that we hold close to our hearts, but we'd also give our guests the option to get a special gift for us, if they chose to.
To create our gift registry, we're so excited to be working with Bed, Bath and Beyond who have made the process so incredibly easy. They have amazing, high quality products that so many young couples would love to receive as they start out on their journey through life together. (You can easily create your registry using Bed, Bath and Beyond here!)
Bed, Bath and Beyond gifted us with a few of their most popular items, the Breville Espresso Maker and a Ninja Blender, and we've been loving using both of them. Whether you're starting your own registry, or you're wondering what to get for some of your engaged friends, these two items are definite crowd pleasers.
I remember growing up watching all my favorite bridal movies and thinking how cool it would be some day to walk around with the little registry gun marking items I would love to receive as gifts. Bed, Bath and Beyond makes the registry process super simple online and in person, so I can make my Bride Wars dreams come true.
While so I'm excited for us to have a traditional registry, I'm also very excited about giving our guests the option to donate to a place that we hold close to our hearts. It's the best of both worlds!
Bed, Bath and Beyond has quite a few things I've got my eye on, and you can shop the items in my registry here or at the links below. Here are a few of the products and pieces I'm eyeing.
Royal Albert Tea is one of my favorite brands. I got my first tea set by them as a gift for my 21st birthday and I still use it! Naturally, I had to include these canisters which I think would be a beautiful addition to our kitchen.
I don't believe you can ever have too many bakeware sets. Many a casserole, pie, cake, and bread will be baked in these baking dishes over the years and the adorable light blue color makes it a must-have on my registry list.
For years I've wanted a panini press and I've never went ahead with the purchase. But there really is something about a freshly grilled sandwich that just makes it taste ten times better. This one by Cuisinart is very affordable and would be much appreciated by me.
Bed, Bath and Beyond has the cutest bedding! I love the pattern on this quilt and can see it in a guest bedroom someday!
We're so excited to be going through this process and absolutely love that we'll be using Bed, Bath and Beyond for all of our registry needs! For more information, watch my latest video here to learn more!
