Fall Staples I'll be Wearing All Season

Well Fancies, I've put it off long enough. I've sucked the marrow out of summer and I am officially ready to ease my way into autumn.

Starting, of course, with fall fashion.

I think fall fashion is one of the more difficult seasons of style to navigate. One minute it's still 100 degrees outside, the next, you find yourself outside at a football game wondering why you didn't bring a jacket.

The transition happens so quickly and then before you know it, it's Winter.

In order to relish the season as much as possible, we must utilize pieces that are:

• Easily layered

• Lightweight

• Stylish

I will say though, that fall is one of my favorite seasons for fashion. We're finally able to pull out our cute, chunky sweaters and stylish coats, and really feel like we're in the opening scene from The Devil Wears Prada.

Here are some staples I've got my eye on, and that I've already added to my closet.

TOPS

I have a certain love for a beautiful, well made top. Perhaps because my videos are almost always from the waist up, a good top is always at the *top* of my list. For fall, I'm having fun with high necklines, fun patterns, and trying not to stay in the neutral tones too much. My inspiration for my style this season is "Ralph Lauren circa 1994"- with a Feminine Fancy touch.

BOTTOMS

This fall, I'm challenging myself to find new ways to layer and wear skirts more than pants. For no other reason than to test how stylish I can be! Gone are the days of resting on my laurels of throwing on a dress and running out the door. But don't get me wrong, your girl loves a maroon, corduroy pant moment in the fall. I can't help it!

DRESSES

Fall dresses are so much fun to style. Pair with some high knee boots, a hat and a cardigan and you've got yourself the perfect fall fit.

ACCESSORIES

I have admittedly slacked off in the area of accessorizing my outfits, but I'm determined to be an adorned girlie this year! Accessories truly transform your look from just wearing your clothes, to styling them. Here are some accessories I think will be fabulous in your fall wardrobe!
