I know I initially posted on Instagram that I would be adding another post to my relationship series, but instead, I just wanted to give you all a little life update. You know that I like to keep things fairly private when it comes to my personal life, but there are some exciting changes on the horizon and I want to share them with you all, my loyal readers.
First, I don't know if I should mention this here or save it for this weekend's vlog, but, I'm moving.
I don't know where to quite yet, but I do know that I'm moving. I will explain this decision more extensively in the vlog this weekend so make sure you tune in, but I have come to the realization that this is what I need to do and what I will be working towards over the next few months.
I already started looking at apartments, which you'll see in the video. And I'm doing my best to ramp up my content to save a few months rent before I leave. Again, I'll explain in more detail in the vlog.
Second, I'm beginning to work with a fertility specialist to learn about cycle-syncing and the Basal Body Temperature method of tracking my cycle. Not because I'm trying to get pregnant, but because I feel an overwhelming sense that I know nothing about my body. Nothing about my reproductive system. The very system that makes me a woman.
I want to feel more empowered about my body. I want to know about the different cycles and I want to be able to know based off of my body's signals when I'm ovulating and how that will affect my mood or my day.
I sometimes feel that as women, we're just given the pill and sent on our way. And that has never sat well with me. I want to know about the inner workings of my body.
I've already been pinning a bunch of helpful information about the different foods and exercises to do during the different stages of the cycle, and it's been so fun to learn!! Head to my Pinterest to check it out if you're interested.
Also, for those of you who are looking to be a homemaker, this information is incredibly valuable to have.
The other day, Cain was at work, when one of the women on set started explaining to him how for majority of the woman's cycle, she is naturally inclined to be nesting and resting at home. She said that she was at the point in her cycle where she needed to be home, but instead, was out working because she didn't have a choice.
Cain's always been open to the idea of me staying home, but hearing it from someone else, in slightly different terms made him really want me to stay home. Because he wants what's best for me and my body.
So for those of you who have asked me how to get your boyfriend on board, learn about your cycle and share the information with him!! It could definitely play in your favor.
Finally, I'm going to start working on an online course about how to grow a YouTube channel and I'm really excited about it!! As many of you know, I grew from 1,000 to 100,000 subscribers in less than a year, created a really solid following of likeminded women and have been able to monetize the thing that I love the most...chatting with girlfriends!
Over the summer, while we were in Colorado, I attempted to start an online course in femininity, but later decided that it wouldn't be beneficial. I offer so much information on my channel, that I don't think it's necessary to charge for similar information. I didn't want you guys to feel like I was just trying to make a quick buck.
I love you, and any time I charge for any of my content, it is because I believe it will bring immense value to your life. So if you're interested in the course, comment below please!
Well loves, that's it for today. A quick little update to let you know what's been on my mind and heart.
I love you!
If you haven't already, check out today's video linked here.
Love you all,
